Position SummaryWhat you'll doABOUT THE TEAMThis role is specifically on the Walmart US Segment Controllership Transformation Team within Global Controllership.
We are responsible for developing strong and scalable financial processes and controls related to new and existing Walmart US customer-focused initiatives and offerings.
ABOUT THE POSITIONThrough robust collaboration with multiple internal business partners along with an attention to detail, this position is responsible for designing and implementing efficient and effective financial processes and internal controls related to new and existing Walmart US customer-focused initiatives and offerings.

o Responsible for partnering with the business in understanding new initiatives and determining the impact of these initiatives on the Controllership organization.
o Assimilates a multitude of details associated with new initiatives and appropriately translates those details into their respective impacts to accounting, financial reporting and internal controls processes.
o Leads the execution of multiple business-driven, finance-driven and/or controllership-driven projects/initiatives by:
Identifying customer and operational needs; Developing and communicating business plans and priorities; Removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; Identifying performance standards; Measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; Developing contingency plans; and Demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
o Create process documentation associated with new initiative development/launch; manage distribution, communication and implementation of the new associated processes.
o Coordinate with Controllership groups across various markets/brands to standardize new and existing processes.
o Perform necessary research and/or benchmark eCommerce industry practices, document findings, and communicate recommendations to executive management for approval.
o Ensures business needs are being met by:
Evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; Consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; and Soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in finance, accounting, or related area OR 6 years' experience in finance, accounting, or related area.
